Ethics Policy

At W3 Information Technologies and Software Services Ltd., our credibility depends entirely on the trust our readers place in us. This Ethics Policy defines the principles that guide every editorial decision we make — from how we research and write content, to how we handle conflicts of interest and correct our mistakes.

1. Integrity and Honesty

We publish only what we believe to be true, accurate, and fairly represented. Our team does not misrepresent facts, fabricate sources, or selectively present information to mislead readers. Plagiarism in any form — including the unattributed use of ideas, structures, or phrasing — is strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate removal of content and disciplinary action.

All statistics, claims, and technical assertions are verified against primary or authoritative sources before publication.

2. Editorial Independence

Our editorial decisions are made entirely by our editorial team, free from influence by advertisers, sponsors, investors, or commercial partners. No business relationship — including paid advertising, affiliate agreements, or sponsored content arrangements — determines what we cover, how we cover it, or what conclusions we draw.

When sponsored or paid content is published on our platform, it is clearly and prominently labeled as "Sponsored" or "Paid Partnership" so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial content.

3. Conflicts of Interest

We require all contributors and editorial staff to disclose any personal, financial, or professional relationships that could create — or appear to create — a conflict of interest in relation to the topics they cover. Where a conflict cannot be avoided, the relevant content is either assigned to another writer or the conflict is explicitly disclosed to readers within the article.

4. Accountability and Corrections

We take full ownership of our content. When errors occur — whether factual, technical, or editorial — we correct them promptly and transparently. Corrections are noted directly within the affected article, including a description of what was changed and the date of the update.

We do not silently delete or alter content. Significant changes to published articles are always disclosed.

For our full process, see our Corrections Policy.

5. Transparency

We believe our readers have the right to understand how our platform operates. We are transparent about:

  • Ownership — who owns and operates W3 Information Technologies and Software Services Ltd.
  • Funding — how our platform is funded, including advertising and commercial relationships
  • Content creation — who writes our content and what their qualifications are
  • Affiliate relationships — where applicable, affiliate links are disclosed at the top of the article

6. Respect, Fairness, and Inclusivity

We are committed to treating all individuals, communities, and organizations with fairness and respect. We do not publish content that is discriminatory, offensive, defamatory, or designed to harass or harm. Our platform welcomes diverse perspectives and does not favor or demean any group based on race, gender, nationality, religion, disability, or any other characteristic.

Criticism of companies, products, or ideas is based on evidence and expressed professionally — not through personal attacks or inflammatory language.

7. Intellectual Property

We respect the intellectual property rights of all creators and organizations. External content, quotations, data, and imagery are properly attributed and, where required, used only with permission or under applicable fair use guidelines. Our team does not reproduce substantial portions of third-party work without authorization.

If you believe we have infringed on your intellectual property rights, please contact us at legal@backendstack.dev and we will respond promptly.

8. Responsibility to Readers

Our readers are our primary stakeholders. Every piece of content we publish is evaluated against a single question: does this genuinely serve the interests of our audience? We do not publish content designed primarily to drive traffic, satisfy advertisers, or promote commercial interests at the expense of reader value.

We are particularly mindful of our responsibility when covering topics that readers may use to make consequential decisions — including software selection, cybersecurity, technology investment, or business strategy.
